The Wichita Wagonmasters are a civic minded organization with one goal, make Wichita the best city we possibly can. Celebrating our 50th year in 2023 we are excited to be hosting the Downtown Chili Cookoff for over 30 years! This is our largest and most important fund raiser as it allows us as Wagonmasters to do what we do best, support the community. Our mission throughout the year can be broken down into 3 main things: supporting local charities, which can usually be attributed to us facilitating them in their own fundraising goals by providing cooking, supplies, and equipment with our annual average of 25,000 meals served; our annual Turkey drive in partnership with the Fraternal Order of Police, that has grown to over 200 families and possibly up to 300 families this year in the Wichita community, and lastly, our Good Life Grants, providing direct donations to small and local charities Wichita has totaled over $150,000 since we began in 2012.
