Arizona Truck Driving Championship (TDC)
The Arizona Truck Driving Championship (TDC) is a competition for professional truck drivers hosted each year by the Arizona Trucking Association. This competition has a long history dating back to 1974 when Arizona held its first Truck Rodeo. The TDC competitors are from many Arizona member companies that support the ongoing focus on professional drivers that promote our industry by being the best examples of operating safely and being accident-free for at least one year prior to the competition. These drivers compete in nine different classes. Each driver has a chance to demonstrate his or her driving and inspection skills, knowledge and professionalism through a series of tests. The drivers undergo a written examination, pre-trip inspection test and finally, the most visible - the skills test. Many of the competitors have millions of accident-free driving miles to their credit.
This annual event inspires hundreds of Arizona drivers to operate accident-free for the right to compete with the best in their class!  As these professional drivers Share the Road with Arizona’s public, they continue to raise awareness of driving safety on Arizona's roads.
